I often hear that "it's a normal car license because it's a car with a side car", but what is important when using it on public roads is driving without a motorcycle license, regardless of registration.

If the "OK?" is OK with a normal license, it is not okay as it is unlicensed driving.
Similar to gyro minicar registration, it is not difficult (unfortunately) to register with minicars or sidecars by masquerading the government office or the Land Transport Bureau as registration procedures are documentary.
It seems that it became NG recently, but it seems that it was possible to register with a side car because one washer was put on one side and it was "asymmetrical".
However, since it is based on the Road Traffic Law under the jurisdiction of the police for use on public roads, even with three wheels it is treated as a "specified motorcycle" in the normal width, and if you use it without a motorcycle license you will be caught without a license.
When the tread is widened and exceeds the width of the motorcycle like this exhibited vehicle, the license classification is "normal license".
It's not a registration issue, but it means that you usually need a license to use it on public roads.
If you interpret it well, you can ride without a motorcycle license if you have an ordinary license, but although it is a very stable three-wheeled vehicle, the operation method is the same as a motorcycle, so please understand it and consider it. think.
