First of all, "Why is it a normal license?"
I think that this can be considered in the same way as the mini car (blue number) of the moped motorcycle.
Since it exceeds the width of motorcycles, it means that the license classification is "normal license".
I often hear that "it's okay to have a normal license because it's a car with a side car", but what is important when using it on public roads is driving without a motorcycle license, regardless of registration.
Just the other day I received this question...
"In Tricity where the width is not wide, there is registration with a side car, is it okay? ]
If that "okay?" is a normal license, it is okay because it is unlicensed driving.
Similar to gyro minicar registration, it is not difficult (unfortunately) to register with minicars or sidecars by masquerading the government office or the Land Transport Bureau as registration procedures are documentary.
It seems that in the old days it was possible to register with a side car because one washer was put on one side and it was asymmetrical.
However, regardless of registration, it is based on the Road Traffic Law under the jurisdiction of the police to use it on public roads, so even with three wheels it is treated as a "specified motorcycle" in the normal width and it is unlicensed if you do not have a motorcycle license.
When the tread is widened and exceeds the width of the motorcycle like this vehicle, the license classification is ordinary license.
It is not a registration issue, and it means that you need a regular license to use it on public roads.
If you understand it well, you can ride without a motorcycle license if you have an ordinary license, but the operation method is the same as a motorcycle even though it is a three-wheeled vehicle with a high sense of stability, I think that you should consider it after understanding it. I will.
Also, as you can see in the image, it is considerably wider than the normal one!
I think that the ride quality will not change extremely, but if you do not expand it to this point, the tread will not exceed 460 mm. Please note that as well.
