Peugeot's most basic entry model belongs to the B segment 106. The engine installed is a 1.6L straight 4DOHC 16 valve that generates 118 horsepower / 14.5 kgm of power and torque. The mission is combined only with a 5-speed manual shift. The suspension has a sport-type setting with Peugeot's traditional front / strut and rear / trailing arms. The leather and Alcantara seats and the blacked-out interior give a sporty impression. The equipment is fully equipped as an entry class, and air conditioners, audio, power steering, power windows, centralized door locks with infrared keyless entry, etc. are set as standard. The model, which will be a new lineup with 106 S16 Limited from September 2002, is equipped with an MD deck + CD changer, further improving product appeal and price competitiveness. In terms of safety measures, dual airbags, side door pads, 4W-ABS, and seatbelts with pretensioners are installed as standard. Only the left handle specification is available.
