Kansas W-300 Japan Vintage Acoustic Guitar

'70s Kiwaya / Suzuki violin. Top / spruce veneer, side / rosewood, back / 3 piece rosewood, neck / nato, fingerboard / rosewood. Famous Ukulele's Kiwaya brand. It looks like a sunburst in the front photo, but this is due to the deterioration of the top clear lacquer and the actual color is natural. Similarly, the top, back rim, and binding are considerably damaged due to deterioration over time, and some parts may float or fall off, but they have been repaired by gluing or pressing with clear from above. The neck tends to warp slightly, and the fingerboard has a slight swell, but it is generally good, with 12F 6th string about 2.5mm and 1st string about 2mm, and there is no particular clogging (or I feel a little clogging at the 6th string high position). The neck with a nut width of about 43mm has a slightly triangular shape that makes it very easy to grip, making it very easy to play. Suzuki violin guitars at that time had almost the same specifications and were difficult to understand because they straddled various brands, but the original rotomatic (which was "sealed" in the materials at that time) was adopted, and Kiwaya / Kansas It was a model that was quite high (second from the top?) As a model, and the position mark of Avalon's hexagon inlay, top, side, back binding / inlay, etc., Martin D-45 (or 41?) Style gorgeous Atmosphere. The back is 3 pieces unlike the original, but I remember that this was not due to the original lack of materials, but it was a fashion of domestic models at the same time. It's not a model that was made too long, and I think it's not well known, but when I play it now, it's a fairly solid structure, and it has a chewy and bright sound. There is some deterioration in the side binding, but other than that, there are no noticeable scratches, it is easy to play, and I think it is a good guitar.

Is it '50s or '60s? This is an old Harmony ukulele. The body top was severely distorted, partly peeled off, and the bridge and back were also peeling off, so I peeled it off once, added a bridge plate and bracing in one place for correction and reinf...
